The box was printed on about 1 mm thick card with the instructions on how to construct the box printed on the card.
Here is the outcome of the brief given to me which is about me as a designer the concept is based around connecting parts of the box together. Connecting hard work to dedication. At the interview the box can be interactive and playful which will make the conversation at the interview friendly and inviting.
After sending of a few samples of my portfolio I was then asked to go for an interview at bivouac in York the company is small but they have some nice cultural clients like architects and museum work. For the interview I had to prepare a box that talk about me it will be something to talk about at my intertview as well as my portfolio.
Today we had a really interesting talk with Alex Atkinson from The Consult based in Leeds the agency create some really interesting work. The work they create is the perfect message between client and audience through clever concepts. The agency started 7 years ago and over time has developed to be a well know agency with a good reputation of been effective and powerful through their design abilities. I had a tutorial with Alex who took a look at my self promotion work which he gave me some really great feedback. Having seen their work in all my favorite books zoom in zoom out and nice to meet you I have followed the work last year and had a keen interest in the company. I was offered a placement which was the best news. I will be really looking forward to this.
